Voice Translation

Voice Translation

Voice translation lets you speak in one language and insert translated text in another language directly into the active Windows app.

This feature requires a Nurgo AI subscription.

Set the Output Language

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Hotkeys.
  3. Open Translation.
  4. Choose the Output language.
  5. Confirm or change the translation hotkey.
  6. Click Apply or OK.

The default translation hotkey is Alt+2 .

Translate by Voice

  1. Click where you want the translated text to appear.
  2. Press the translation hotkey.
  3. Speak in your input language.
  4. Press the hotkey again, or release it if push-to-talk is enabled and you are holding the key.
  5. VoxAction inserts the translated text at the caret.

Example: set the output language to English, speak in French, and VoxAction inserts the English version into your email, chat, CRM, support ticket, or document.

Input Language

The spoken language is configured in:

Settings > Transcription > Input language

Automatic detection can work well for many cases, but choosing a specific input language can help short phrases, names, accents, and specialized vocabulary.

What Voice Translation Is For

Use voice translation for:

  • international email,
  • multilingual support replies,
  • sales follow-ups,
  • chat messages,
  • travel or relocation administration,
  • working with global teams.

Translation Is Not an Answer Bot

Voice translation is meant to transcribe and translate what you said. If your speech contains a question, VoxAction should insert the translated question, not answer it.

Review translated text before sending it, especially for customer-facing, legal, medical, financial, or sensitive communication.
