Microphone Is Not Recording

Open Settings > Transcription and check:

• the selected audio recording device,
• the input level gauge,
• Windows microphone permissions,
• whether another app has exclusive control of the device,
• whether the microphone is muted in Windows.

Try System default input device if a specific device is unavailable.
