Finding VoxAction Files and Logs

VoxAction stores settings, account data, temporary files, and logs locally. These files are useful when backing up settings or troubleshooting with support.

MSI Installer Version

For the installed version, user data is stored in:

%APPDATA%\VoxAction\

Common application data can also be stored in:

%PROGRAMDATA%\VoxAction\

Temporary VoxAction files are stored under:

%TEMP%\VoxAction\

Portable Version

For the portable version, settings and data are stored next to the executable.

Temporary files are stored in a local temp\  folder beside the executable.

Important Files

  • VoxAction.conf : settings such as hotkeys, selected AI service, endpoint, API key, model, microphone, language, and dictionary.
  • VoxAction.data : account, authentication, instance, and update-check data.
  • logs\ : diagnostic logs.

Logs

When contacting support, logs can help explain what happened. They may contain technical details such as service endpoints, error messages, hotkey state, and processing status.

Avoid sharing logs publicly. Send them only through the official Nurgo Software support channel if requested.
